Morgan Prunty, M.A.

Assistant Director, Student Involvement


Morgan is the Assistant Director, Student Involvement for Student Engagement and Leadership and is responsible for overseeing the recognition process of the 500+ student organizations and for the development, implementation, and assessment of student organization resources for students and advisors. Morgan is also responsible for the planning and execution of many of the WVU campus-wide traditional programming.

Morgan Prunty, M.A., serves as the Assistant Director, Student Involvement and oversees resources and recognition for student organizations along with some of our campus-wide traditional programming. Student Involvement provides multiple outlets for students to be engaged with the University through programs such as: Student Organizations, Student Government Association, Homecoming Court & Parade, The Student Lot, Toy Mountain, and Student Organization Leadership Development (SOLD) Workshops. Morgan also provides oversight for The Rack: Student Food Pantry and the Student Organized Resource Center (SORC).

Before arriving at her position with SEL, Morgan worked as the Program Specialist for the Department of Neuroscience at WVU for three years. She also serves as a Network Specialist for Operations and Programming for Alpha Omicron Pi.

Morgan earned her B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies in May of 2016 and her M.A. in Educational Psychology in August of 2018, both from WVU.
