PALs Mentor Program

PALs (Peer Advisors for Leadership) will assist in leading the First-Year Leadership Academy while enhancing their own leadership skills. PALs get hands-on experience with facilitation, mentoring a group of first-year students, and service opportunities. 

Be a PAL!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the Assistant Director, Graduate Assistant, & Lead PAL with facilitating leadership workshops.
  • Mentoring a number of students enrolled in First-Year Leadership Academy.
  • Collaborating with the Assistant Director, Graduate Assistant, & Lead PAL on workshops & activities.
  • Completing a minimum of 10 service hours throughout the academic year.
  • Maintaining minimum 2.5 GPA & classify as a sophomore or above.
  • Attend all required trainings and events.
